James Winterfield
Men's Swimming and Diving
James Winterfield helped the Falcons to winning the MPSF Championships, their first conference championship win since 2020, with an overall score of 819.5. The senior capped off the final championship meet of his career as the high point, scoring 53 for Air Force with his one gold, three silvers, and two bronze medals. The Charleston, S.C., native won the 100 butterfly (46.06) and broke the Academy record, the MPSF record, and the pool record with his NCAA qualifying time. He also broke AFA's 200 IM (1:43.99) record with his second place finish that qualified for NCAAs. Winterfield finished on the podium in the 200 fly in addition to swimming a leg of two silver relays (800 free & 400 medley) and a third place 400 free relay.
