Wyatt Hendrickson returned to the Air Force Academy bearing a third-place medal from the 2023 NCAA Wrestling Championships, becoming Air Force’s first wrestling All-American since 2003. On his tear through the national tournament, Hendrickson pinned three opponents to win the Gorriaran Award for most pins at the championships. Furthermore, Wyatt’s dominance at the national tournament garnered him the NCAA Most Dominant Wrestler Award, awarded to the wrestler with the highest bonus point average on the season. Hendrickson’s efforts helped the Falcons to the most team points scored in program history, lifting the Falcons to 18th place as the NCAA Tournament.
