Wrestling Practice Facility

The Air Force wrestling mat room is the primary training facility for the wrestling team and also serves as a practice facility for visiting opponents, USA Wrestling athletes and the Air Force Regional Training Center. The Falcon wrestling mat room was constructed in the fall of 2013 on the middle level of Cadet Gymnasium and is complete with four full-sized collegiate wrestling mats (6,400 sq ft), and additional space for cross training and strength training. The cross training space includes a myriad of exercise machines, a full set of kettle bells and dumb bells, two Power Lift squat racks and an Olympic lifting platform. Extra features include a sports medicine area, a Bose stereo system and a TV screen with camera for each mat with full playback ability.
