Cross Country Teams Earn Third Place In MWC

Colorado State head coach Del Hessel was honored as the Mountain West Conference men and women's coach of the year by a vote of his peers. BYU's Lindsey Thomsen was named women's athlete of the year, while CSU's Bryan Berryhill earned the men's honors. Freshmen of the year awards went to Katie Martin and Josh Rohatinsky, both from BYU. Air Force runners C4Cs (Fr.) Benjamin Payne from Arvada, CO, and Chris Acs both earned second-team all-MWC honors after finishing eighth and 14th, respectively. First-team all-conference honors went to the top seven finishers on both sides, while eighth through 14th places received second-team honors. C1C (Sr.) Jaime Flood was the Academy's top women's finisher in 19th place.
Nov. 11 the Falcons will compete in the NCAA Mountain Region Championships in Ogden, Utah.
