NCAA Division I Cross Country Highlights Available on Satellite

U.S. Air Force Academy, Colo. - The USA Track and Field Association released
today that for the first time ever, video highlights of the NCAA Division I
Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships will be available to
television stations across the country via satellite.
Iowa State University will host the 2000 Championships on Monday, November 20. The women's race will begin at 11 a.m. local time, with the men's race slated for 12:15 p.m. Beginning at 6:30 p.m. Eastern Time (4:30 p.m. MTN), a thirty-minute highlight package will be up-linked via satellite on a same-day, tape-delay basis.
Air Force Academy fans should be able to dial into the event on satellite. The satellite coordinates are C Band, Telstar 5, Transponder 23 at 97 degrees west. The downlink frequency is 4160 MHz (V). Television stations using highlights should courtesy NCAA Productions.
