Cross Country Teams Travel to Albuquerque

The Mountain West Conference Cross Country Championships will be held at the Paradise Hills Golf Course in Albuquerque, Oct. 27. The Falcons have one goal, to finish in the top three.
Both teams ran well throughout the season. "The men ran very well at the Pre-NCAA and did what we needed to do in order to get 'at-large' points which is important for national qualifying," said head coach Mark Stanforth. "The women had a solid race as well."
Both teams were off last week. Air Force is currently tied for ninth with Northern Arizona in the U.S. Cross Country Coaches Association men's national poll. The Falcons are ranked fifth in the Mountain Region.
C1C Chris Acs was selected as the MWC athlete of the week, Oct. 17.
