Cross Country Teams to Compete in Albuquerque

The cross country teams will compete in the New Mexico Invitational in Albuquerque on Saturday, Sept. 22. Women's start time is 9 a.m., men start at 9:45. Teams scheduled to compete in the invitational include Dine College, Louisiana State, New Mexico, UNLV and the Academy. According to a UNM release, Wyoming is also scheduled to compete in the event, but due to the tragic accident of Sunday, Sept. 16, the team's participation is uncertain. Due to the events of the past week, the Academy's men and women's cross country teams could not participate in either the Woody Greeno Invitational in Lincoln, Neb., or the University of Denver Invitational.
