Air Force Rifle to Host NCAA/NRA Qualifiers

The entire team focus this season has been the NCAA Qualifiers, as that is the "make or break" event of the year. There is exactly one chance for the team to make the NCAA Championships and this weekend will be it. The Falcons are on track to qualify and place at the NCAA Championships to be held the weekend of March 10 at Ohio State University. Air Force is now 0-2 this season against UTEP. Against Wyoming, both the first and second team Falcons defeated the Cowboys in Air Force's first match of the season in the smallbore and air rifle events. The Falcons also defeated the Cowboys twice at home Nov. 18. The competition begins at 7:00 am Saturday and Sunday and will be held at the Academy's new rifle range.
