Shane Rogers Competes In NCAA Finals

Eugene, OR,--Air Force senior Shane Rogers finished 11th in the 12-man 3,000-meter steeplechase final Saturday, June 2, at the NCAA Championships hosted by the University of Oregon.
Rogers, who successfuly defended his title in this event at the Mountain West Conference Championships two weeks ago, finished with a time of 8:59.11. The time was far off the pace of his qualifying time of 8:46.63, which he ran last Thursday. Arkansas's Daniel Lincoln, a sophomore, won the event with a time of 8:42.31.
