Three Falcons named to CHA all-academic team

Three Air Force hockey players were named to the College Hockey America all-academic team.
Seniors Justin Hamilton and Jake Tesar and junior Mike Polidor were named to the team. Hamilton, a senior winger from Medicine Hat, Alberta, carries a 3.07 GPA as a mechanical engineering major. Polidor, a junior goaltender from Imperial, Penn., has a 3.87 GPA in astronautical engineering. Tesar, a senior defenseman from Waterloo, Neb., posted a 3.07 GPA in the last two semesters in management.
To earn CHA all-academic team honors, student-athletes must meet the following criteria: 1) have completed one year of residency at the present institution prior to the current academic year; 2) have a grade point average of at least 3.00 (4.00 scale) for the previous two semesters or have an overall GPA of at least 3.00 for all terms at the present institution.
