Air Force senior defenseman Brian Reaney was inadvertently left off of the College Hockey America all-conference second team due to an error in the selection process. The all-conference team is selected by the league's head coaches and one assistant from each school.
Reaney joins senior teammate Andy Berg on the all-conference second team. He also joins Wayne State's Keith Stanich and Alabama-Huntsville's Tyler Butler as defensemen on the second team.
The native of Park Ridge, Ill., Reaney was second in the CHA in scoring among defensemen with 22 points on three goals and 19 assists. In CHA games, Reaney was fourth in scoring by a defenseman with 13 points in 20 games. Reaney was named the CHA Defensive Player of the Week once this season and three times in his career. He closed out his career tied for ninth in Air Force history in scoring by a defenseman with 71 points on 16 goals and 55 assists.
The all-league honor is the first of Reaney's career.
