Air Force defeats Idaho State, 4-3

The Air Force men's tennis team evened its record at 1-1 on Saturday with a 4-3 victory over Idaho State in Pocatello, Idaho. The Falcons won the doubles point with wins at the Nos. 1 and 3 spots, then took the Nos. 1, 3, 5 and 6 singles matches.
Sophomore Shannon Buck, ranked No. 35 in the country, won his second consecutive match with a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Hestian Stoica at the No. 1 spot. Junior Tyler McClung won a tough three-setter at the No. 3 spot, defeating Marc Pijoan 1-6, 6-4, 6-4 and junior Chris Dong beat Masimba Ruwo, 6-3, 6-0 at No. 5. Freshman Justin Lau improved to 2-0 at the No. 6 slot and sealed the match with a 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 victory over Jemre Ohoh.
