The visiting Air Force Falcons shook off a two-plus hour rain delay in defeating hosts Point Loma Nazarene University, 8-1 in non-conference tennis action Saturday. The victory improves to the Falcons to 3-2 on the season.
Air Force swept through singles action and lost only one doubles contest. The number six singles match was the day's most exciting as PLNU's Josh Cowan pushed Sky Jensen to a three-set tie-breaker. Jensen prevailed 10-8 in the third set to wrap up the 8-1 win for Air Force.
Air Force returns to action on Sunday, Feb. 15 against UC Riverside in Poway, Calif.
