Ollis Earns MWC Player of the Week Honor

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Air Force running back Jim Ollis was named Mountain West Conference co-offensive player of the week for games through Nov. 17, announced today by the conference office. Ollis shared offensive POW honors with BYU quarterback Max Hall.
Air Force has now claimed seven player of the week honors this year including six in the last seven weeks.
Ollis, a senior from Columbus, N.C., rushed for a career-high 163 yards on 15 carries (10.9 yards per carry) and scored two touchdowns in Air Force's 55-23 win over San Diego State. His touchdowns came on runs of 54 and 31 yards and seven of his carries went for first downs.
Chase Ortiz of TCU was named defensive player of the week and Michael Hughes of San Diego State was named special teams player of the week.
