Falcon Diving Completes Day Two Action at Trojan Diving Invite

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The Air Force diving team completed day two competition at the 2011 Trojan Diving invitational, hosted by USC, on a Saturday (Nov. 5) at USC's McDonald's Swim Stadium. Sophomore Alex Pecci led the way for the Falcons, reaching the men's 1-meter championships.In the prelims, Pecci took eighth-place in the prelims with 243.90 points to reach the championship round. Pecci placed eighth in the finals with 262.40points. Junior Brent White also dove well for the Falcons, placing 12th in the 1-meter with 225.65 points.
On the women's side freshman Lainie Long led the way for the Falcons. Long placed 17th in the 3-meter with 200.25 points. Sophomore Moranda Hern followed Long by placing 20th in the 3-meter with 188.85 points. Sophomore Rachel Kennedy placed 25th in the 3-meter with 143.65 points.
