Falcon Men Drop Dual Meet against UCSB

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The Air Force men's swim team dropped a dual meet to UC Santa Barbara 147-108 in a neutral-site meet at East Los Angeles College on Saturday, Jan. 4. Sophomore Kevin Jackson led the way, earning both of the Falcons' individual wins.

Jackson won the 500 yard freestyle (4:39.12) and 1000 free (9:33.87).

Air Force also took first place in the 400 free relay. Seniors Angus MacDonald and Paul Leonhardt and sophomore George Frank and junior Ryan Dunne swam a time of 3:09.16.

The Falcons had seven second-place finishes. Sophomore Michael Barnosky was second in both the 100 breast (57.68) and 200 breast (2:08.50). Air Force also got second place finishes by freshman Andrew Facizewski in the 1000 free (9:35.47) and 400 medley (4:09.91), sophomore Sean Ledford in the 200 fly (1:54.84), freshman Kristopher Tillery in the 200 back (1:53.05) and Dunne in the 100 fly (50.63).
