Falcon Wrestling Downed By #22 Wyoming

LARAMIE, Wyo. - Air Force wrestling (0-2, 0-1) opened Wester Wrestling Conference competition with a 34-0 loss at Wyoming Thursday night at the UniWyo Sports Complex.

The Cowboys swept all 10 bouts in the shutout win.

Air Force had close bouts at the 141 and 149 pound weight classes. Senior Cody Hancock dropped a 5-4 decision to Wyoming's Cole Mendenhall at 141 pounds. Sophomore Jerry McGinty lost a tiebreaker, 2-1, to Jake Elliott at 149 pounds.

The Falcons return to action Dec. 29 at the Midlands Championships in Evanston, Ill.
