
Air Force divers compete at Arizona

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. - The Air Force men's and women's diving teams competed in a multi-team meet at the University of Arizona, Saturday, Jan. 2.
The Falcon men competed on the one-meter and Dominic Vallejo won the meet with 305.80 points. Nathaniel Zillweger was fourth (241.95), A.J. Eckebrecht was fifth (224.55), Jaron Swinburn was sixth (198.95), Nick Piontek was seventh (178.10) and Erich Drollinger was eighth (170.00).
On the women's side, Lainie Long was third in the one-meter with 234.10 points. Jessica Horn was 10th (207.30) while Jeanne Nolan was 13th (185.85). On the three-meter, Horn was sixth (243.70), Long was seventh (233.05) and Nolan was 14th (161.95).
The men's and women's swimming and diving team's next competition will be Jan. 16-17 at the Cadet Natatorium. The men will compete against Seattle both days while the women will compete against Seattle and Northern Colorado each day. The Friday meet begins at 6 p.m. while the Saturday meet begins at 11 a.m.
