AFA Summer Sports Camp Registration Officially Open

Online registration for the 2015 AFA Summer Sports Camps presented by Children's Hospital Colorado officially opened today. All camp information, as well as links to register can be found at www.goairforcefalcons.com/camps.
This year marks the 35th year of the annual AFA Summer Sports Camps and the athletic department is pleased to announce that the 2015 camp season will have more options than ever before.
This summer's camps will feature 20 different camps during the traditional two-and-a-half week session as well as seven specialty camps, many of which take place on weekends. New to the schedule this year is rugby, which will be offered in week one of camps. Gymnastics will also return in 2015 and will take place in the newly renovated West Gym.
AFA Sports Camps are open to children ages 8-18 and are led by AFA head coaches as well as some of the top high school and college coaches in the region. The camps will be broken into three sessions. Session one will run from June 8-June 12, session two will run from June 15-June 19 and session three, which is a commuter-only week, will run from June 22-24.
Campers ages 12 and up who choose to attend camps in session one or session two will have the option of boarding on campus and staying in the cadet dorms. Additionally, boarders get the added benefit of eating in Mitchell Hall and interacting with cadet counselors.
The AFA Sports Camp office will offer an Early Bird discount from now until January 31, 2015. The Early Bird discount takes $25 off the commuter camp fee and $50 off the boarder camp fee.
