Falcons outscore Chapman, 16-15

In a wild game with a combined 31 goals, the Air Force Falcons outscored Chapman University, 16-15, in a non-conference college water polo game Friday, Nov. 13, in Orange, Calif.
Chapman scored the first three goals of the game before the Falcons got on the board with a goal by Garrett Fisk. After another Panther goal, Air Force scored four straight as the teams were tied at 5-5 after one quarter. The game then see-sawed back and forth in the second quarter and the teams went into the half tied at 10-10.
In the third quarter, Chapman scored the first two goals, but the Falcons answered with four straight to take a 14-12 lead after three quarters. The teams traded goals throughout the fourth quarter and Fisk's third of the game gave the Falcons a 16-14 lead with 42 seconds remaining. The Panthers scored a late goal to make up the final margin.
Fisk and Justin Harrison led the Falcons with three goals each. Zach Kamai and Eric Curia each had two. Riley Thomas led the Falcons with four steals.
Air Force (9-16 overall) concludes the regular-season with a non-conference road game against Concordia, Saturday, Nov. 14, in Irvine, Calif. Air Force will host the 2015 Western Water Polo Association Championships, Nov. 20-22 at the Cadet Natatorium.
