Davis and Zillweger earn WAC weekly honors

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Air Force's Devon Davis and Nathanael Zillweger were named Western Athletic Conference Swimmer and Diver of the week, respectively, in helping lead Air Force to a dual meet win over long-time rival Wyoming, 156-144.
Davis, a junior from Colorado Springs, Colorado won both the 100 back and 100 fly. In the 100 fly, Air Force went 1-2-3, keyed by his first-place finish, which was the turning point of the match and helped lead the Falcons to win over the Cowboys. Davis also swam the first leg of the 200 medley relay that won with a time of 9:57.08.
Zillweger, a senior from Phoenix, Ariz., won the one-meter and placed second on three-meter in a dual meet vs. Wyoming. The points he earned helped lead Air Force to a close win over the Cowboy.
Air Force, ranked 25th in the College Swimming Coaches Association of America/TYR national poll, travels to College Station, Texas, to compete in the Art Adamson Invitational, Nov. 19-21.
