U.S. Air Force Academy, Colo. (Nov. 16, 2015) – The Falcon Pride Club and the United States Air Force Academy Athletic Department are celebrating November 16-20 as their inaugural Donor Appreciation Week. The Falcon Pride Club, the fundraising arm of the Academy Athletic Department, is celebrating its donors with special events and spotlights on our amazing cadet-athletes as well as our wonderfully generous donors. The support from Falcon Pride Club donors throughout 2015 has been tremendous, with more than 800 supporters and nearly $750,000 in total annual fund contributions (a 20 percent increase from 2014).
Donor Appreciation Week will be highlighted with special thank you notes from Air Force Athletics, spotlights on our generous donors and gifts from our intercollegiate programs. Seat upgrades will also be offered at this week’s men’s and women’s basketball games against Tennessee Tech, Denver and Mississippi Valley State.
Gifts to the Falcon Pride Club have a direct impact on the lives of our cadet-athletes at the Air Force Academy. All donations will continue to provide Air Force’s 27 intercollegiate programs with the resources needed to advance our mission of promoting the Academy to the nation through athletics.
