
2015 NCAA Zone E Diving Championships has concluded

The first day of the 2015 NCAA Zone E Diving Championships has concluded at the Air Force Academy's Cadet Natatorium.
In the men's one-meter, Stanford's Kristian Ipsen won the competition with 842.50 points while Rafael Quintero (Arizona) was second with 781.40 points and Collin Pollard (USC) was third with 743.50. In addition to Ipsen, Quintero and Pollard, Bradley Christensen (Stanford), Jacob Crayne (Utah), Amund Gismervik (Hawaii), Jordan Gear (USC), Ross Edfort (Denver) and Nathan Gonzales (BYU) qualified for the NCAA Championships.
Air Force junior Nathaniel Zillweger placed 14th in the finals with 630.60. Zillweger qualified for the finals after placing 15th in the prelims with 314.30. Junior Dominic Vallejo was 24th in the prelims with 262.50 points.
In the women's three-meter, Hailey Casper from Arizona State won the meet with 672.30 points. Samantha Pickens from Arizona was second while Maria Polyakova from UCLA was third. In addition to Casper, Pickens and Polyakova, Krysta Palmer (Nevada), Annika Lenz (UCLA), Aimee Harrison (Hawaii), Kassidy Cook (Stanford) and Haley Ishimatsu (USC) qualified for the NCAA Championships.
