Air Force Concludes Action at NCAA Championships

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Air Force wrestling wrapped up competition at the 2015 NCAA Wrestling Championships in front of another crowd of over 18,000 Friday at Scottrade Center. Junior Josh Martinez capped the 2014-15 season with a loss.

Martinez, a Colorado Springs native and Pine Creek High School product was eliminated from competition with an 11-4 loss to Ethan Lizak of Minnesota at 125 pounds. Martinez has made it to the second day of competition at the NCAA's each of his first three seasons. The junior caps his season with a 23-6 record.

The Falcons had two athletes compete at the NCAA Championships. Senior Jesse Stafford competed at 165 pounds yesterday, getting eliminated after two bouts.
