Five Falcons Named Academic All-WAC

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- Five members of the Air Force men's swimming and diving teams have been named to the Western Athletic Conference all-academic team, as announced today by the WAC office.
Sam Wieser (senior swimmer from Las Vegas, Nev.), George Frank (junior swimmer from Jacksonville, Fla.), Jordan Dahle (sophomore swimmer from Salt Lake City, Utah) and Andrew Faciszewski (sophomore swimmer from Bluffton, S.C.) and Nathaniel Zillweger (junior diver from Phoenix, Ariz.) were all named to the team. Wieser was named academic all-conference for the third time while Zillweger was honored for the second time. Frank, Dahle and Faciszewski were honored for the first time in their careers. The five all-academic selections tie as the most since 2011.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's contests.
