Falcon divers place at USC Invitational

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. - The Air Force men's and women's diving team competed in the USC Invitational, Nov. 11-13. The women competed against divers from USC, UCLA, San Diego State and Fresno State. The men competed against divers from USC, Cal Poly, Cal Baptist and Cal Bakersfield.
On the women's side, sophomore Bella Farrell was 18th in one-meter with 405.30 points and was 16th on three-meter with 463.05 points. Freshman Kayla Wofford was 18th one three-meter with 437.00 points. Wofford also placed 12th on the platform with 359.00 points.
On the men's side, junior Nicholas Piontek was fourth on platform (469.95) and was fourth on one-meter (516.40). Freshman Kevin Lecours was seventh on platform (309.30) and was 12th on one-meter (329.45). Senior A.J. Eckebrecht was eighth on one-meter (462.20). On the three-meter, Eckebrecht was fourth (498.65), Piontek was sixth (485.85) and Lecours was eighth (454.35).
The Air Force men's swimming and diving team travels to Greensboro, N.C., for the annual Wolfpack Invitational, Nov. 17-19. The women's swimming and diving team travels to Evanston, Ill., for the annual Northwestern Invitational, Nov. 18-20.
