Falcons host Grand Canyon, Nov. 5

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- The Air Force men's swimming and diving team hosts a dual meet against conference rival Grand Canyon on Saturday, Nov. 5, at 1 p.m. at the Cadet Natatorium. Admission is free.Click here for the live stream.
Air Force is 5-0 this season in dual meets after defeating conference rival Wyoming, 156.50-143.50, at home on Oct. 27. The win was the Falcons' third straight over the Cowboys. Senior Jordan Dahle won two individual events (100 and 200 free) and swam on the 200 medley and 400 free relays that both won. The meet came down to the final race as the Falcon team of Lars Knutson, Michael Hannigan, Dahle and Steffen Mount won the 400 free relay in a time of 3:00.13.
Several Falcons rank among the conference leaders in their respective events. Falcons hold the top two spots in the 50 free as Knutson ranks first (20.32) and Mount is second (20.34). Senior Jordan Dahle has the league's top time in both the 100 free (44.61) and the 200 free (1:39.23). Senior Andrew Faciszewski ranks second in the 200 free (1:39.91) while freshman Ben Brockman is third (1:40.38).
Faciszewski has the WAC's fastest times in the 500 free (4:30.05), the 1000 free (9:23.45) and the 1650 free (15:45.31). Junior Garrett Glaudini has the league's second fastest time in the 1650 free (15:58.05). Senior Kris Tillery ranks second in the WAC in the 100 back (50.35) and is third in the 200 back (1:50.30).
Seniors Zach Knoche (55.19) and Kevin Fanter (55.95) rank second and third, respectively, in the 100 breast stroke. Mount also ranks first in the league in the 100 fly (49.15). The Falcons hold the WAC's top three times in the 400 IM as Faciszewski ranks first (4:01.19), Glaudini is second (4:02.63) and freshman Zach Nelson is third (4:02.80).
Following the Grand Canyon meet, the team's next competition will be Nov. 11-13 as the diving team will travel to Los Angeles, Calif., for the USC Diving Invitational.
