
Falcons third at Rice Invitational

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. - The Air Force women's swimming and diving team placed third at the Rice Invitational, Nov. 4-5, in Houston, Texas. Rice won the meet with 389 points while Houston was second (240) and Air Force was third (186).
Genevieve Miller won the 500 free ( 4:55.48) and the 1650 free (16:54.84). Miller also placed second in the 200 free with a time of 1:52.84. Freshman Lydia Knutson, who set the school record in the 50 free last week, won the 50 free with a time of 23.77. In the 800 free relay, the team of Tianna Jorgenson, Jinan Andrews, Gaby Miller and Genevieve Miller placed second with a time of 7:47.32. In the 100 free, Jinan Andrews placed second (52.57).
The men's and women's swimming and diving teams are back in action on Nov. 11-13 at the USC Diving Invitational in Los Angeles, Calif.
