Barnosky places 48th in NCAAs in 200 IM

Air Force senior Michael Barnosky placed 48th in the 200 IM at the 2016 NCAA Division I Men's Swimming & Diving Championships at the McAuley Aquatic Center on the campus of Georgia Tech, Thursday, March 24. Barnosky finished with a time of 1:49.09.
Barnosky, from Cederedge, Colo., will compete in the 100 breast stroke on Friday and the 200 breast stroke on Saturday. Barnosky won the WAC title in the 100 breast stroke and also earned all-WAC honors in the 200 breast and 200 IM.
Senior diver Nathanael Zillweger, from Phoenix, Ariz., will compete on the 3-meter springboard on Friday and on the platform on Saturday. He won both the 1-meter and 3-meter at WAC Championships, and was second on the platform, earning the WAC Diver of the Year award for the second straight season.
