Miles Mathieu named AFAAC Chief Operations Officer

Miles Mathieu has been named Chief Operations Officer/Chief Financial Officer of the Air Force Academy Athletic Corporation, according to an announcement today from AFAAC Chief Executive Officer Dr. Nancy Hixson. Mathieu has been serving as CFO since his retirement from the Air Force in 2014 and has been serving as interim COO for several months.
Mathieu is a 1995 Air Force Academy graduate and spent his military career focusing on financial management and international partnerships. He has lived all over the United States, as well as Japan, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Pakistan. Mathieu has also traveled extensively throughout the Arabian Peninsula in support of Central Command and U.S. government senior leaders.
In addition to his bachelor's from the Air Force Academy, Mathieu holds a master's degree in management from Troy State and a master's in national security studies (international relations) from the Naval Postgraduate School. Mathieu and his wife, Audrey, a 1995 Academy graduate, have four children.
