Falcon swimmers complete competition at Olympic Trials

U.S.A.F. ACADEMY, Colo. -- Air Force's Andrew Faciszewski was the final Falcon to compete at the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials, Saturday, July 2, at the CenturyLink Arena in Omaha, Neb. The rising senior from Bluffton, S.C., placed 87th in the 1500 meter freestyle with a time of 16:07.37.
Air Force sent three swimmers to the Trials who combined to compete in five events between June 27 and July 2.
Genevieve Miller, a rising senior from Winston Salem, N.C., placed 29th in the 800 meter freestyle with a time of 8:48.64. Miller entered the Trials ranked 65th in the nation in the event. Miller also competed in the 400 meter freestyle on Monday, June 27, and placed 30th with a time of 4:14.97. She entered that event ranked 53rd in the nation.
Jordan Dahle, a rising senior from Salt Lake City, Utah, swam the 50 meter freestyle in 23.62 to rank 134th on Friday, July 1. He entered the meet ranked 136th. On Wednesday, June 29, Dahle swam the 100 meter free in 51.36 to place 78th. He entered the Trials ranked 95th in the nation in that event.
