
Falcons fall to UNLV in dual

LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Air Force fell to 7-5 overall this season. UC Santa Barbara also competed in the meet.The Air Force women's swimming and diving team fell in a dual meet to UNLV, 156-141, on Saturday, Jan. 21, in Las Vegas
Genevieve Miller won the 1650 free (17:11.24), the 500 free (4:58.56) and the 200 free (1:52.11). In the 50 free, Lydia Knutson was second with a time of 24.01. Jinan Andrews was third in the 100 free
53.02. Emma Strom was third in the 200 back stroke 2:07.53
In diving, Isabella Farrell was third on one-meter with 228.45 points while Kayla Wofford was fourth with 217.95 points. In three-meter, Wofford was third (247.28) while Becca Hetrick was fourth (242.03).
The women's diving team hosts the annual Air Force Diving Invitational, Jan. 27-28, at the Cadet Natatorium. The meet starts at 9 a.m. each day. The women's swimming team is back in action with a dual meet at the University of Denver on Jan. 28.
