Falcons fall to DU in final dual meet

Final Results

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. - The Air Force women's swimming team dropped a dual meet to the University of Denver, 244-114, Saturday, Jan. 28, in Denver, Colo.

In the sprint scoring format, several Falcons placed to earn team points. Elise Hart won the final heat of the 50 fly with a time of 24.63. Genevieve Miller won the 500 free 4:49.02.

Lydia Knutson was second in the finals 50 free (23.03). Genevieve Miller was third in the 200 free (1:50.31). Heidi Schellin was third in the finals of the 50 breast stroke (30.73).

Emma Strom placed third in the 50 backstroke (26.32). Shayle Finnesand was third in the 50 breaststroke (29.42). Jinan Andrews was fourth in the 200 IM 2:08.65.

The Falcons are now idle until the Mountain West Conference Championship, Feb. 15-18 in College Station, Texas.
