Air Force falls to Nevada to open MW play

Nevada defeated Air Force, 4-1, Friday afternoon in a Mountain West men's tennis match at the McArthur Tennis Center in Reno, Nev. The match was the conference opener for both schools.
Nevada won the doubles point, winning at No. 2-3. Max Olson and Luke Sanderson won at No. 1 doubles for the Falcons. The Wolf Pack won three of the four finished singles matches to clinch the point. The lone win for Air Force came at No. 3 with Isaac Perez defeating Augustin Delahodde, 4-6, 6-0, 6-1.
The Falcons fall to 6-11 overall and 0-1 in the conference. Nevada improves to 6-6 overall and 1-0 in the Mountain West. Air Force plays Sunday at Fresno State to complete a two-match road swing to open conference play.
