New Mexico downs Air Force

New Mexico defeated Air Force, 4-1, Saturday afternoon in a Mountain West men's tennis match at the Academy's Cadet Gymnasium Indoor Tennis Courts.
The Lobos won the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and 2. Isaac Perez and Luke Sanderson picked up a 6-4 win at No. 3 to open play. The Lobos won three of the four singles matches that were completed. Air Force's lone win came at No. 3 with senior Lucas Fumagalli beating Dominic West, 7-6, 6-3, to pick up a win on Senior Day.
Air Force falls to 8-16 overall and 1-6 in the Mountain West. New Mexico improves to 12-12 overall and 4-3 in the conference.
