Entry Lists Released for Twilight Open

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. -- The track and field team has released the entry lists for the Air Force Twilight Open, which will take place tomorrow (May 5), at the Cadet Outdoor Track and Field Complex. The meet, a final tune-up before the conference championships, will begin at 1:30 p.m.

The weather forecast for tomorrow at the Academy is 71°, mostly sunny and 5-10 MPH winds from the SE.
Given those wind directions, we're going to re-order the long throws so that we can throw the discus on the infield, from the NW ring (vs. the upper throwing field, where the Hammer will be thrown). We will now throw in the following order:
1:30pm— Men's Discus, Women to follow
1:30pm— Women's Hammer, Men to follow
after Women's Discus— Women's Shot Put, Men to follow
after Women's Discus— Men's Javelin, Women to follow
The following events are not compliant with NCAA qualifying rules, because they do not include competitors from more than one 4-year school. However, they WILL be contested and their results will be uploaded to TFRRS:
W's 200 meters
W's 800 meters
M's 4x100m Relay
M's Long Jump
Both the Men's and Women's 4x400m Relay events have been cancelled due to no entries.
When you arrive tomorrow, please stop at the Meet Operations box above the common finish line (NE corner of track) to pay your entry fee, if applicable, and pick up copies of the startlists.
