Senior Bryant Falconello led the Falcons

SIMI VALLEY, Calif. – Senior Bryant Falconello led the Air Force golf team at the 23^rd annual Bill Cullum Invitational, hosted by Cal State Northridge, Tuesday, Oct. 16, at the Wood Ranch Golf Club in Simi Valley, Calif.

Falconello, who missed most of the fall season recovering from an injury, tied for 46^th overall with a six-over, 222. He shot a season-best 71 (-1), in the second round. Freshman Luke Trujillo tied Falconello with the best round by a Falcon in the tournament, shooting a one-under 71 in the final round. Trujillo tied for 52^nd overall with a 223 (+7).

As a team, Air Force placed 15^th with a 54-hole total of 889 (+35). After an opening round 306, the Falcons recovered for a 296 in round two and a 297 in round three.

The Falcons placed ahead of Weber State and Southern Utah and just behind San Diego and Hawai'i.

The Falcons are now off until the Kaanapali Collegiate, Nov. 3-5, in Maui.
