COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Air Force Academy men's swimming team wrapped day two at the Art Adamson Invitational Thursday evening, Nov. 15, at the Rec Center Natatorium on the campus of Texas A&M University. The Falcons had a pair of top programs swims highlight the second day of competition.
Overall, after 12 events, Air Force has totaled 268 points to remain in fourth place out of the six team field. Host Texas A&M remains in first with 1,139 points, while LSU (417) is second and Hawaii (348) is third. Behind Air Force is Incarnate Word (172) and SMU (133).
One of Air Force's highest finishers on the day was freshman Isaac Gwin in the 100 back. The rookie placed fifth out of 32 swimmers, clocking in with a 47.88. That time is good for the second fastest 100 back time in program history, and was 0.11 away from making an NCAA B Cut time.
