Men's Tennis Falls at New Mexico

Albuquerque, N.M. - Air Force battled Mountain West for New Mexico to a tough loss, 4-0, in the regular-season finale, Saturday afternoon, at the McKinnon Family Tennis Stadium, Albuquerque, N.M. The Falcons finalize their season at 11-14, with a 1-6 mark in league action.
The Lobos jumped out to an early lead, securing the doubles point with 6-1 wins at positions one and three. Tadhg Collins and Luke Sanderson, who are 3-2 when playing together at No. 2, got off the courts with their match unfinished.
New Mexico continued its roll in singles action, posting straight-sets wins in positions one, two and five, to clinch the win. The Falcons were poised to strike in positions three, four and six, as Isaac Perez, Paul Hendrix and Collins were engaged in their third sets with the serve in their possession. The trio left the courts with their matches unfinished.
Air Force will travel to San Diego to compete in the Mountain West championship tournament, Thurs., Apr. 26, to Sat., Apr. 28, at the Aztec Tennis Complex. Thursday's matches are slated to begin at 9 a.m. (PT).
