Four Falcons earn academic all-WAC honors

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. - Four members of the Air Force men's swimming and diving team were named to the Western Athletic Conference all-academic team, as announced today by the league office. Today's announcement honored 195 freshmen and transfers from the winter sports.

Freshmen swimmers Peter Lochmaier and Erik Orr, along with divers, Cole Armagost and Jack Zocher were honored for their work both in the pool and in the class room.

To be eligible for the honor, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's contests.
