Gebhart and Lochmaier earn Scholar All-America honors

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. - Two members of the Air Force men's swimming and diving team earned Scholar All-America honors, as announced today by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).

Senior (graduated) Joey Gebhart and rising sophomore Peter Lochmaier both earned honorable mention honors. Gebhart, a native of Boulder City, Nev., carried a 3.76 GPA as a systems engineering major. Lochmaier, a native of Signal Mountain, Tenn., carries a 3.69 GPA as a bio-chemistry major.

The award recognizes students that have achieved a grade point average of 3.50 or higher and achieved an NCAA "B" time standard.
