Men’s Tennis Opens Season with Blue-Silver Scrimmage

Blue team wins 6-1.
USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force men's tennis opened the 2018-19 season with the annual Blue-Silver scrimmage Thursday afternoon at the Air Force Outdoor Intercollegiate Tennis Courts. The Blue squad powered its way to a 6-1 victory over the Silver team.
"I saw a lot of positives on the court today," Air Force men's tennis head coach Dan Oosterhous said. "All of our guys were focused and eager to compete after a long off-season. This scrimmage gives us a chance to put our team in a competitive environment, in front of family and friends, and see how they handle their opponent, even if it is a teammate. I'm really excited about our team this year and can't wait to give them another opportunity to compete next weekend at our home tournament."
Air Force returns to action next weekend, hosting the AFA Invitational, running Fri-Sun., Sept. 7-9.
