Falcon Men’s Tennis Completes Weekend At Two Invites

Air Force men's tennis finished final day action at a pair of invites Sunday, Sept. 29. The Falcons took part in the Joe Hunt Invite in Annapolis, Md., and the Weber State invite in Ogden, Utah. Highlighting the action were three championship wins at the Hunt Invite.

Air Force claimed three flight champions at the Hunt Invite, winning a pair of doubles flights and one singles flight. Sophomore Paul Hendrix claimed the White B flight singles, rallying back to defeat Max Benaim of Monmouth 2-6, 6-2, 7-6 (3).

Hendrix and sophomore Jamie Bautista won the White B Doubles Flight with a win over Zeng/Behun of George Washington 7-5. Sophomore Patrick Sklenka and freshman James Scotty won the Green A flight doubles with a win over Ramakrishnan/Kharhev of Morgan State 6-2.

At the Weber State invite, Air Force had its best day, going 4-1. Robert Baylon and Santiago Garcia picked up singles wins. Both doubles in the A group for for the Falcons, as the duo or Jordan Azuma and Baylon and the duo of Mack Galvin and Austin Gula won.
