Falcons Complete Day One At NCAA Fencing Championships

Air Force fencing sits in 18th place after day one competition at the 2019 NCAA men's and women's Fencing Championships, held March 21-24 in Cleveland, Ohio. Junior Jordan Griffith and freshman Nestor Levin competed for the Falcons in the first day of action on Thursday.

Griffith and Levin, both competing in the men's foil, earned seven points for the Falcons in the opening three rounds of competition. Levin sits in 20th place after earning four bout victories and Griffith is in 23rd after three wins. The duo returns to action tomorrow morning in rounds four and five of competition.

Sophomore Nicole Agob is the third Falcon at the NCAA's and will compete in the women's epee on Sat.-Sun., March 23-24.
