Rifle team in 5th place after smallbore

NCAA Men's and Women's Smallbore Championship
U.S. Air Force Academy, Colo. – The Air Force rifle team had a rough start to the NCAA Men's and Women's Rifle Championships today. In the smallbore, the Falcons only managed a combined score of 2319. TCU and West Virginia are at the top of the rankings, so far, with a tied score of 2331.
Following the top team scores, Kentucky is ranked third with a 2322, followed by Murray State, 2320, Air Force, 2319, Navy, 2298, Army, 2295 and Alaska with a 2287.
In the match, Peter Fiori and Spencer Cap both finished with a 579. Casper Schadler scored a 577, while Anna Weilbacher scored a 569. Logan Ogden had the highest score for Air Force with a 584.
The Air Rifle Championships are Saturday at the West Virginia University campus in Morgantown.
