
Air Force Men’s Tennis Falls At Boise State, 4-1

Air Force men's tennis fell at Boise State 4-1 in a Mountain West dual Sunday afternoon at the Boas Indoor Tennis Center in Boise, Idaho. The Falcons dropped to 9-10, 0-4 on the season.
For the second-straight dual, the Falcons were up 1-0 after the doubles portion of competition but then went 0-4 in singles play.
Air Force took the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles. Tadgh Collins and Patrick Sklenka won at No. 1 over Max Blancaneaux/Jack Heslin 6-2. Mack Galvin and Isaac Perez won at No. 3 over Simon Stenlund/Wyatt DeMulling 6-3 to earn the point.
The momentum gained from the doubles point was short-lived as Boise State rallied back in singles.
The Falcons dropped matches at No. 1, 3, 5 and 6. Paul Hendrix fell at No. 3 singles to DeMulling 6-2, 6-2 as Boise State tied the match. The Broncos went ahead with a win at No. 6 singles as Air Force's Jamie Bautista fell to Simon Stenlund 6-4, 6-2.
Galvin fell at No 5 singles to Blancaneaux 6-3 6-2 and Sklenka dropped the No. 1 singles match to Soskic 6-4, 6-4.
Air Force returns to action tomorrow, April 8, at Weber State.
