Josh Wu and Andy Germann each shot a 74 on the final day
U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Junior Josh Wu and senior Andy Germann led the Air Force golf team in the final round of the 41st annual Augusta Haskins Award Invitational, Sunday, April 7, at the Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta, Ga.
Wu and Germann each shot a 74 on the final day. Wu tied for 48th overall with a 54-hole total of 220 (+4). Germann tied for 62nd overall with a 224 (+8). Freshman Jonathan Farmer shot a 231, freshman Luke Trujillo came in at 233 and senior Tate Tatom shot a 241.
Third-ranked Wake Forest won the team title with a three-day score of 828 (-36). South Carolina, ranked 18th in the nation, was second (-33) while seventh-ranked Texas was third (-30). Air Force places 15th overall with a 901 (+37). The tournament featured two of the top 10 and five of the top 40.
Air Force will compete in the annual BYU Cougar Classic, April 19-20 in Provo, Utah.
