Air Force Athletics announced today record-breaking fundraising numbers this past fiscal year, including number of donors and dollars raised, as well as the rebranding of its fundraising arm to the Falcon Athletic Fund.
Formerly known as the Falcon Pride Club, the Falcon Athletic Fund is the fundraising arm of Air Force Athletics. The Falcon Athletic Fund is responsible for generating the philanthropic resources required to provide a first-class, transformational experience for 1,000 cadet-athletes across 27 intercollegiate sports.
The name change is part of a comprehensive fundraising plan set in motion by Nathan Pine, Director of Athletics, to capitalize on past success and exponentially grow philanthropic support to Air Force Athletics.
"We are excited to rebrand and launch the Falcon Athletic Fund" commented Air Force Director of Athletics Nathan Pine. "In the rapidly changing competitive environment of elite Division I athletics, private support is fundamental for sustaining and growing success. The Falcon Athletic Fund is the best way to directly impact our cadet-athletes and programs."
With the rebrand will come enhanced donor benefits and new giving opportunities including an Athletic Director's Circle for the department's top donors and a Falcon Athletic Fund – Out-of-State Membership, targeting Falcon fans spread across the country and around the world.
"We look forward to further engaging with our tremendous supporters, while expanding our reach deeper into the Air Force family and front range community" stated Associate Athletics Director – External Relations, Derek Gossler.
The Falcon Athletic Fund will continue to engage and inspire the Air Force community of supporters to provide the resources for our cadet-athletes to achieve at their highest potential. The growth of the Falcon Athletic Fund is the driving force behind our ability to compete for conference championships and continue the tradition of graduating leaders of character who will serve our Air Force.
How to Give/Join:
Donors who gave in 2018-19 will receive a renewal statement via mail later this summer and are always encouraged to renew their gift online at FalconAthleticFund.com. New donors are encouraged to follow one of the below giving methods to join the Falcon Athletic Fund for 2019-20:
