77 Cadet-Athletes earn MW all-academic honors

The 77 cadet-athletes are the second most in school history
U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Air Force placed 77 cadet-athletes on the spring academic all-Mountain West team, as announced today by the league office. The 77 cadet-athletes are the second most in school history and the most since the Falcons placed 81 in 2015-16.
Combined with the 61 cadet-athletes that earned MW academic honors in the fall, 138 cadet-athletes received MW academic honors during the 2018-19 academic year. The 138 honorees are the most in school history, breaking the mark of 122 in 2015-16.
Mountain West spring sports include baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's golf, softball, women's swimming and diving, men's and women's tennis and men's and women's indoor and outdoor track and field.
To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their athletic team.
