
Falcons fall to No. 3 Stanford

Air Force will play No. 9 UC Davis on Sept. 28 at 10:40 am PT
U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Third-ranked Stanford defeated Air Force, 18-1, in the first game of the SoCal Water Polo Invitational, Friday, Sept. 27, in Los Angeles, Calif.
The Cardinal scored the first three goals of the game. Air Force's Gavin Jones scored at 3:16 to make the score 3-1. Stanford scored late in the first quarter for a 4-1 lead. Stanford outscored Air Force, 5-0, in the second, 4-0, in the third and 5-0 in the fourth quarter.
Air Force will now play No. 9 UC Davis at 10:40 a.m. PT on Saturday, Sept. 28. The Falcons will then play a second game on Saturday, at either 4:00 pm PT or 5:20 pm PT, depending on the result of the UC Davis game.
